After joining Yahoo Canada in January 2020, I quickly had to convince my colleagues that I did not, in fact, curse the newsroom. Instead, I channeled the chaotic energy of the pandemic into driving our coverage forward.
Six years later, I now specialize in live coverage for tentpole events as a Senior Editor and Lead SEO Strategist. Whether it's a Federal Election, Bank of Canada rate announcements, Boxing Day or the Olympics, my skillset allows me to lead and contribute to projects of importance for Canadian readers.
As a journalist, I have always had a love for multimedia storytelling. Most recently, it's grown through my travel reporting and Toronto Raptors coverage, along with profiles focused on those who have inspired me.
Throughout my time at Yahoo Canada, I've also explored the business side of editorial content, while working toward a Business Management certificate at the University of Toronto.
Below are samples of my recent work. Please feel free to connect either here or on LinkedIn!
Live Coverage
As Yahoo Canada's SEO Strategist, I've worked across live coverage projects for our News, Finance, Sports, Lifestyle and E-Commerce verticals, focusing on creating and executing strategies to surface prominently in Google Search, while serving our Frontpage audience. Our live blog coverage plans have also required me to take the lead as a reporter during breaking news situations.
Multimedia Profiles
My love for journalism is deeply rooted in the art of interviewing. Whether it's speaking with Josie Nepinak, the president of the Native Women's Association of Canada, or with one of the world's best guitar players in Zakk Wylde, these multimedia profiles aim to capture the human stories behind the headlines.

Raptors Coverage
Over the past four NBA seasons, I've been fortunate to live out my childhood dream of covering the Toronto Raptors. Most recently, it was through their 2026 playoff run, as I delivered both game recaps featuring player and coach interviews, along with a human-interest feature on the next generation of "We The North" fans.
